Privacy Policy – Surveyor
1. Introduction
Surveyor helps authorized professional users manage survey leads, projects, tasks, survey records and supporting documents.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed through the app, why it is used, and how to contact us about privacy.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on your role and the features you use, Surveyor processes:
- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, user ID, login credentials, session tokens, roles and access permissions.
- Client and site contact information: Names, email addresses and phone numbers entered by authorized users.
- Survey and project information: Lead descriptions, project details, district, taluka, village, survey numbers, task assignments, statuses and schedules.
- Uploaded content: Images, PDF documents, 7/12 land records and other supported survey or project files.
- App activity: Actions used to create or update records, assign tasks and change work statuses. Search terms entered in the System Users search are transmitted to the server to retrieve matching results.
Please upload personal information and documents only when you are authorized to do so.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Authenticate users and manage accounts.
- Apply roles and access permissions.
- Create and manage leads, projects and survey records.
- Assign tasks and track work progress.
- Display task schedules.
- Store, display and download supporting documents.
- Retrieve records and search results.
4. Survey Locations and Device Permissions
Surveyor processes manually selected survey locations, including district, taluka, village and survey numbers. These describe survey sites.
The current Android app does not request GPS or background location access. It also does not request access to your phone contacts, SMS or microphone.
Images and documents are uploaded from files selected by the user. On Android 9 and earlier, the app may request storage permission to save downloaded documents in the Downloads folder.
5. Data Access and Sharing
Information submitted through Surveyor is transmitted to the backend service at api.surveyor.712consultancy.com.
Survey records and files may be accessible to authorized administrators and other permitted users according to their assigned roles and permissions.
Backend hosting, storage and any onward disclosure are managed by the service operator. You may contact us for information about the service providers involved in handling your records.
6. Data Security
The app uses HTTPS for its configured API connections to protect information in transit.
The app stores session tokens and selected account information locally to support authentication and remembered login. Access to app features is managed through accounts and assigned permissions.
No method of electronic transmission or storage provides an absolute guarantee of security.
7. Data Retention and Privacy Requests
Submitted business records and documents are stored by the backend service. Retention depends on the organization managing those records and its applicable operational and legal requirements.
For questions about accessing, correcting or deleting your information, contact mig.surveyor@gmail.com. Requests involving server-held records require coordination with the organization or administrator responsible for those records.
Uninstalling Surveyor does not automatically delete information stored on the server. Signing out does not delete your account or submitted business records.
8. Children's Privacy
Surveyor is intended for adult professional and business users. It is not designed for children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when app features or data handling practices change. Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
